What's new in this release
Most of what we built came straight from conversations with our founding members about where they wanted more control.
Edit any meal the coach logs
When the coach logs a meal, it shows up as a meal card right in the conversation. Tap the pencil on the card to change the meal or the time, adjust the calories, protein, carbs, fat or fiber for any item, or remove something that shouldn't be there.

Set your own daily calorie budget
You decide the number. Set the daily calorie budget that fits the way you actually want to eat, and the coach will track your day against it. You can change it whenever your goals change.
In the Me tab, under Daily BudgetReminders you set yourself
Set reminders for the things that keep you on track, like logging your food or checking in with the coach. Give each one your own title and message, choose daily or weekly, and pick the time. They arrive as notifications on your phone.

More accurate logging
We've improved how the coach reads what you tell it, whether you type a full sentence, send two words or share a photo, so meals and weigh-ins land in your log the way you described them.
Built with safety in mind
Getting onto the App Store took several rounds of review with Apple, and we put a lot of work into AI safety along the way. The coach has safeguards that keep its guidance responsible, and you can see how food estimates are made right inside the app.
What hasn't changed
The app is a new way in. The coach on the other side is the same one you already know.
It still remembers you
Your history, your patterns and what you've told the coach along the way all carry over. You never have to start from scratch.
It's still a conversation
You talk to the coach the way you always have. The new tools are there when you want them, and you never have to fill out a form to use LivingLean.
The web version stays
If you'd rather use LivingLean in a browser, the web version is fully functional and will stay that way.
A note from Rob and Zachary
Getting here took longer than we expected, and we're genuinely proud of what came out the other side. A big thank you goes to the founding members who tested early builds and told us exactly what was working and what wasn't. A lot of what's on this page exists because of those conversations.
If something in this release feels off, or there's something you wish the coach did, we want to hear about it. You can reach us anytime through our contact page.
